42. BATHROOM & RACHAEL

As promised to the followers, here are several screenshots about improvements on bathroom assets. I also started the implementation of Rachael character inside the apartment. She’s now wandering through the rooms and looking at you when you get closer. I’m planning to build a more elaborated Animator Controller for her (playing piano, drinking vodka in the kitchen, …). Also the modeling/texturing has to be finetuned (too cartoonish for now).

Special thanks to my friends Cedric Delcourt for his help on asset modeling (especially the towels) and Thomas Marcotte for Rachael character.

Will Vive/CV1 users be able to experience this wonderful opportunity? If so can you please tell us when.

Are you accepting donations to continue?

    Q.

Hi Videl, for now, I’m waiting for a HTC Vive. So I think it will first be available on the Vive.
Donations… I never though about this. Could be cool to get some help. I would like to create more, like other scenes of the same movie… but it’s quite time consuming. Thanks for the proposal.

Please set up donations via PayPal, Gofundme or Kickstarter.

I know you can’t sell the game due copyright & the the term of use for EU4.

I feel you should and can take donation. I would be the first to contribute, just let me know where. Keep up the great work. Do you mind if I let a few VR buddies on YouTube know about your work.

I’d also be willing to contribute some $$$ to the cause. I’d also be happy to assist with Vive beta testing. Keep me posted if you decide to move forward with either.

In any case, keep up the great work… it’s looking fantastic!

Thank you very much guys. I really appreciate your willing to help me. I have several ways to explore before accepting donations… but if all my plans fail I’ll think about it 🙂

Also put me in for beta testing a Vive version on recommended hardware! I’d love to help out and have been waiting for this since you originally posted on the Oculus subreddit.

I am a fellow Digital Artist, and Your work is Amazing, and Inspiring to Me and Many Others. In other words, it is Historic!..
That being said. Do you have plans to implement options for anti-aliasing?
If your worried about it running sluggish in VR, at 90fps X 2 on HTC Vive.
As I’m sure you are aware, video cards roughly double in power every year. Will double again In June or July 2017, I suspect…
I have an HTC Vive, by the way;)
    Keep up the awesome work!

    Hi Jeremy,
    Thanks for your kind words.
Glad you have a Vive. This experience will be released for Vive first 😉

    Bon courage,
    cordialement.
